Our Story
As horse owners ourselves, we knew the frustration of buckets that tipped over, spilled feed, were difficult to hang securely, or simply weren't designed for the way people actually use horse panels and trailers. We wanted something stronger, more secure, and more versatile. That's why Mike designed The Original Panel Bucket™—a rugged American-made bucket with two secure mounting options: built-in detent pins for livestock panels and an adjustable hanging strap for trailers, stalls, and fences. The result is a bucket that's dependable, easy to use, and built to withstand the demands of everyday ranch life.
Our story begins long before the first Panel Bucket. Ranching and horses have always been part of our family's life. Years of caring for livestock, hauling horses, and working on the ranch gave us firsthand experience with the little frustrations horse owners face every day. Instead of accepting those frustrations, we set out to build something better.

Mike Baumgartner has never set out to become an inventor. He's always been a problem solver. Years spent around horses and livestock taught him that the best ideas come from real experience, not a drawing board. When something didn't work as well as it should, Mike didn't just work around the problem, he looked for a better solution. That practical approach led to the creation of The Original Panel Bucket™ and continues to inspire every product developed by Rafter 4B Enterprises.
